Meet the Author!

Shannon Kaminski began tap dancing at the age of 5 in Lombard, Illinois. If you had asked her what she wanted to do when she grew up she’d say, “teach tap” or “write a book.”

Shannon is a proud Ball State University Alum. She lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she teaches locally and across the country at studios and tap festivals.

When Shannon is not dancing or writing, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two black cats, Theodore and Logan.
